Schiano teams are mid. His orotege’s team UMass is just putrid. Should be able to name the score.

With a new QB I would take Umass and the points
If you could prove info to backup this point, then it's makes you view more valid. You can't look at it just from Rutgers POV. I'm willing to bet you know absolutely nothing about UMass.

Fun fact: UMass score 133 points over 12 games last year. That's an average of 11 points per game. UMass score 26 total points in the second of games last year including 6 in the fourth quarter. The defense gave up an average of 39 points per game. The closest game of the year for UMass was against Bryant (FCS) and they lost 26-27. Btw, Bryant was 3-9 last year.

Rutgers could be playing a walk on QB in that game and it wouldn’t project to have an impact. UMass is horrible.

The only way we don’t win the game by at least 30 IMO is if our D is as bad as it was last year. We let a dreadful Norfolk team score 10 points, so giving up 2 TDs to UMass perhaps not out of the question, because, you know, RU seems to have broken run D plays that go for the distance no matter who we play…. Even still, the only reason UMass might cover the spread in that case is because out of respect for his relationship with Joe, Greg might keep the ball on the ground and unload the bench in the second half. Theoretically a final of 40-14 could be possible.

Wasn’t it the Norfolk game where Schiano ran a silly first half fake punt from deep in minus territory ? It failed ? And who can forget Patel’s laughable 4th and 8 fake FG that Bo Jackson wouldn’t have come close to converting.

The almighty Schiano is the reason the spread isn’t 45.

Who cares what we do in these games? We beat Norfolk 60-10 and could’ve won by more if we wanted to.
