Said just get that starter out. Anything can happen. Kids picker up!!! Bosh-Cancun magic!!!
I understand the disappointment in not hitting the ball but this is baseball and sometimes hits/runs are just hard to come by. Had to leave the board because the negative comments were ruining the game for me. This team has shown all season that they could score late in games and like I said, if you aren't blowing this team out I'm riding with them til the final out.

We got a lot of fans who get on the game threads and criticize coaching decisions, jump on players’ mistakes, and essentially quit on them. You quit on this team at risk of being made a fool of.
Owen Hull is the closest thing to Dustin Ackley that I’ve seen since DA was drafted. I know Dusty hit more taters but he had the advantage of those magic wand aluminum bats. Hull finds the holes and gaps just like Dusty.

In the 7th inning, USC took out their hottest hitter (Lamb) for a pinch-runner and eventual defensive replacement.
A new 3B came in, 3B moved to CF, and CF moved to LF.
Lamb’s spot came up in the 9th and we got a big out from it.
The 3B and LF failed to get that foul ball then the CF didn’t make the play on that double.
I’m sure they’ve made this replacement dozens of times throughout the year but it’s hard to imagine it could have had a worse result.

Had to play way in. He was running full speed and had to account for the wall. It's hard to tell how close you are when you're chasing a ball like that. Tough play but happy it was.
Got to give our pitchers credit today when it was looking like they would not get any run support they just kept working and gave us a chance.
This team never quits unlike a good number of fans. Trash them all you want, but they're just really good at winning baseball games. Y'all will learn what TA has said before, "baseball games are long".
It’s the 9 hole hitter. How many good 9 hole hitters have you seen that are good? In the majors even?? French was a great defensive player. At least he’s got that. Oh, and he saved our season. Other than that….
