When Hull hit the double in the 8th I was in the other room changing the baby. My wife made me stay in the other room after that and relayed the play by play, so pumped for this team.

I went to game 3 last year and game 1 Friday. I passed up a free ticket offered to me by a former player today (live a ways away so would have had to scramble to get there). Sometimes you have to sacrifice for the team.

I was out shopping and got home during the top of the 9th. I was instructed by the husband and the teenager not to turn on the TV downstairs because the YTTV stream is a little ahead of the one upstairs.
So I did what I do during close basketball games: I went outside, said a prayer, and stayed there until I heard screaming and one of them came and got me.

No, it was me in the eighth when I finally pulled it up on the radio when I had to go to the grocery store. Listened to the rest of the game on the radio.

So, I retrieved the Carolina tee shirt that I had worn (so successfully) yesterday. And it gave me the patience to wait for you to do the same in the 7th, after which Smitty came through by changing the diaper.

These are types of plays that don’t show up on the box score. Every team has that guy that does the dirty work (literally), glad we could take that role today!
Our baby had just woken up, so I held him as we watched the 9th. He was locked in at 6 weeks old.
