Some math. Can't let LionJim's brain atrophy.

yeah, just what I was going to say
I would tell my students, “When you’re trying to solve a problem there’s only a few things that can affect the outcome, only a few things you need to check. If A doesn’t work and B doesn’t work, then C will almost certainly work.” When you’re trying to figure why you’ve come up with x=y when you know x is not equal to y, it’s either because you’ve divided by zero (not the issue here) or because you’ve messed up an absolute value.

Give an example of

|x| = -x

Meaning, find a nonzero value of x for which the above equation is true.

"I’m not an expert on jinxes, hexes, curses, and voodoo. Not superstitious either. But if I was the Knicks, I probably wouldn’t let the guy near the arena for Game 4, Just to be on the safe side." --Ron Filipkowski

While watching the chaos induced fluster-cluck within the three-block radius of MSG, I became too upset and started watching Professor Julius Sumner Miller to refresh some of the physics related disciplines to Civil-structural, fluid mechanics, momentum, etc.
He reminded me of Kramer on the Seinfeld series; I'm going to follow more of his videos. Julius was very entertaining.

SOLID 'A'

Back in the days of no personal cell phones and thriving malls, I saw one of my AE professors, Tom Boothby, dressed up as the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz while he was taking his daughter, dressed as Dorothy, around the Nittany Mall for trick-or-treating.

Manatree: "If only I had a camera."

Boothby: "You would have an A+ for the semester."
