Maybe it wasn't RU's program that turned them off, but not being "serenaded" by a certain RU fan that had them so disappointed that they left the state to play.their college ball.

I used to defend him before ,when he just seemed (to me) an overly positive fan that pushed his positive RU FB messages a bit too far. But I felt they were a nice break from all the negativity being shared at the time..
Now the tone of his messages has changed and becoming indefensible , in my opinion.

Unfortunately, as one of his biggest defenders for 20 years and someone I consider a friend, I have felt the same way for a while now.

A little fact , though born in NJ , Brunson’s family moved to Illinois when he was in 6th grade so it should be an Illinois fan whining he didn’t do to Illinois because he played his high school ball in Illinois .

Win and they will come, that probably was a big reason in the choices Jalen and KAT made for the College they committed to .
Playing for coaches like Jay Wright and John Calipari add more incentive
