Man, that was beautiful small-ball that inning. Forbes definitely thinking DeCaro and Glauber only this game, IMHO.
I don’t watch a lot of baseball, so forgive my ignorance. But shouldn’t the pitcher have checked on the UNC batter he hit in the face?
Typically, pitcher will just look away. He definitely wasn’t throwing AT him so he has to shake it off and try to get back in his own head space. Nothing egregious there, IMO.
I still don't understand why that's Gallaher's ball, but I guess he's calling seniority.

Gavin’s doing the right thing. Middle infielders go after it until somebody calls them off. If you don’t hear anything, you keep going. Howe looked tentative and unsure if he was gonna get there on that one.
