We are all enjoying this insane Knicks run. OK- maybe some of you Sixers fans aren't. lol

What this Knick's team reminds me of, is the GS 1.0 defenses. They just swarm and are relentless. There is never one big superstar but as a whole- they just function at a high level because they play like they trust their teammate will be in the right place at the right time and have their back at all times.

Would love to see all of my favorite teams to watch this team play and learn from it.

Hart could make a living running clinics on how to rebound. Dude is all over the place. It’s amazing.

Yes, Mike Brown is quite the student of Greg Schiano . . .

I watched a lot of Riley/Ewing Knicks but lost interest when Riley left (he knew they would be bad for a long time). I skipped Linsanity, Carmelo Anthony - passed on all of it. I saw Brunson was becoming a star (Barkley calls him best free agent signing in NBA history) but Brunson really got my attention passing on potential extra113 million contract (to get other good players).

When I watched my first whole NBA game sine 1995 last Friday, I expected a Brunson show but he looked like John Starks trying to see how many misses he could have. What was interesting was how the other guys were playing so frenetic that the Spurs were off balance for a while and the game looked like a brawl. Knicks were so feisty I was thinking they "kept chopping" while Brunson seemed injury hampered. Playing hard defense is exhausting but Knicks were doing it like a pack of Belgian malinois. Knicks are more than one boss player.

Great to pull out a win by 1 point. The Spurs also seem like a likeable team (compared to - say - Reggie Miller doing his choke gesture)
