So it appears that the term "redshirt" will be reduced to the ashbin of history?

We know you won't break the rules, there aren't any.

Hell, let’s just have no limits….i mean non-athletes can go back to school for as many years as they want and since I read all the time from some that athletes should be no different than other students (although they get far more from a school than non-athletes do), then open up the opportunity for them to make it a career.

I don't understand why anyone is angry about this
"Once the college eligibility clock starts, the athlete will be allowed five seasons of competition over five years."
This is being done for obvious reasons

There’s a difference between being angry about it and disagreeing with it.

No red shirting!
No college football!
Just a sign of the times.
The abandon collesiums of an ancient civilization.
But there will be wrestling on the white house lawn
Perhaps women's wrestling in the mud pit.
Life is grand!

No, it’s called sarcasm…guess you don’t understand that.
I know it's sarcasm...it's your anger over the change saying that they might as well have no limits based on this change. I didn't think you wanted no limits...do you understand what you write?

It’s not anger, hard to get angry about something that really means nothing to me…I just disagree with it. Does that clarify it enough for you?

doesn't exasperation generally coexist or lead to anger? ;)
Whatever they can do to mess up college sports, they’re obviously going to do, so it’s just acceptance at this point.

It clearly means something to you or you wouldn't be discussing it

But you're not angry about it...just being sarcastic.
The fact anyone thinks this isn't beneficial is ludicrous. It's to eliminate the 6th and 7th year guys

Let’s eliminate the fifth year guys too, that would be beneficial in my opinion.

I never said it would happen…like I said, anything that makes the sport worse, we can count on them doing.
Again, in no way does eliminating the 6th-9th year guys make the sport worse
