Let’s not forget our team and coaches put ourselves in this position. We had many opportunities to host a super but performed 4-15 vs top 10 teams and got swept at home twice. Thats nobody’s fault but our own.

What makes this more important knowing MSU my whole life is that ole miss looks ready to get another natty. Think it was bad watching them in playoffs, let them pass us in NC’s in the ONLY sport we take seriously.

No excuses. This uga team is without its HC and one of its best players. We absolutely should destroy this team in front of an intramural crowd. Let’s see it happen Coach O’Connor.

Do I care? Absolutely! Do I think women’s sports are far better than men’s sports? Absolutely! I’ve probably commented on more softball threads here. But, I still very much care about baseball. We need to win today.

It would be an epic disaster for MSU fans. Ole Miss doesn’t even care much about baseball either which makes it even worse to stomach. We go all in on it, and yet they potentially pass us by while not even caring. MSU must win this series and/or ole miss lose next 2 vs Auburn or get ready for another ole miss in CFP within a razor’s edge of a football natty experience. We all know this and can be honest with ourselves without name calling like 4 year old boys.

The program has already defined itself and reaching a super regional is a good year for MSU baseball. A win at this regional and a cws berth would be an over achievement and a job well done by Oak.

With that said, State is facing this UGA pitcher for the 3rd time. However we are countering with our ace and Phillips is out. So we should make a good game of it today.

Teams that win game 1, historically make it to the cws 73% of the time (per sec nation).
