Ha’ Way the Lads!!! Sunderland fan from before their back to back relegations to League One. Great recruitment sprinkled with some of our own provided an improbable season. The Stadium of Light is an incredible experience. Hoping to get back next season.

My first championship since 2019 (Nationals). The feeling never gets old.

It couldn’t be Liverpool, but I’m happy for Arsenal. Also good for Mikel Arteta. Many people said that he couldn’t get over the hump. He never has to hear that again. The Gunners deserved it. First-rate all around.
Arsenal is a super solid defensive team that did earn it for sure this year. Kudos for Arsenal for trusting a coach for more than a year. It’s the exception to the rule in that league.

I’m hopeful Carrick is given more than half a season next year for United which has been the typical knee jerk fire reaction time for the club. I also hope the find some adequate midfielders to replace Casemiro. First off season where I’d had at least a bit of optimism going into the next season.

Ruh-roh MC 😳

I’m was dreading Arsenal being awarded the championship only after an MC point deduction, only after having seen MC celebrating. It would totally not count as a championship, in my mind.

My guess is that they will dock MC enough points to knock them out of the Champions League and the Europa League, but not enough to relegate them out of the Premier League. Obviously, I could be wrong about this, but that is the vibe I’m getting from some buddies who live in the UK.

I’m a little surprised but not shocked and not disappointed. You can’t sign that many high priced players and finish 24 points worse than last season at Liverpool.

Can we convince Klopp to come back?

Never understood why clubs hire managers/coaches who run counter to the style of play they had been running.

Liverpool, ManU and especially the Spurs, who have been flip-flopping from progressive, possession managers to turgid-ball time and time again.

That, along with poor recruiting, is why they just barely escaped relegation.

Prime reason why the Spurs played better under DZB is that his style is similar to Ange-ball (but a bit more pragmatic).

Also, never understood how the media kept making excuses for Frank, whereas they couldn't not stop criticizing Ange.

Thank you, Jesus. I woke up today praying I would have the opportunity to subscribe to yet another streaming platform. It's times like these when I am reminded that there is a God.

Assuming you are Stateside, your prayers will remain unanswered until at least the summer of ‘28.
