Ever been to West Virginia? Check it out:
There are thousands of homes like this in West Virginia. And Arkansas. And Louisiana. And Mississippi. And Alabama. And Floriduh. And Kentucky. And Tennessee. I could go on. Most of these states would dry up and blow away if their citizens were not propped up by federal largesse. There's precious little economic or cultural activity going on in them. When Democrats lose, they stomp their feet and sue, depending on activist judges to nullify the will of the voters.
This isn’t “checks and balances.” It’s lawfare on steroids. The Supreme Court has started reining it in, but the resistance never sleeps.
