He is a 6‘2“ combo guard in the 2027 class currently listed as a five star but apparently he will now reclassify to the 2026 class and it looks like he may have made a silent commitment to Coach Cal. He states that he will make a public announcement on June 10.

I still contend that we should have let Calipari finish out here.

Jack Gohlke ruined everything.

Could have had Acuff, Smith, Richmond, Thomas, Muurinen, and now Thompson (and probably Wilso or AJ). Then when Cal is done, you use him as your PR guy and bridge to the recruiting pipeline.

Makes me sick.

I think Cal’s class will really need Cooper Bowser to be a force in the middle. I like his clips from watching Wilkins. I think his experience and age will be crucial for Arky. 1-3 looks really solid for Arkansas. I think the PF and center positions are potential weaknesses. He has length but not much weight or experience. Can Andrew’s play the 4 and give them some muscle down low to help Bowser?

He should have been here and we wouldn't be paying big money to avoid getting scapes. The amount we have to pay to be relevant with this coach is unsustainable long term. It will end badly not a matter if but when. All the while if you wanted someone like Pope he would have had a retired coach cal to help him instead of ruining his career.

He is a 51% 3 point shooter in Nike summer EYBL. I wonder if Cal had to pay him 7M?
Lmao yes, because doing it in the EYBL and doing it in high level college basketball over a course of three seasons, all while setting D1 all time records is exactly the same. 🙄

Put down the pipe. Cal was done here. He thought he owned the place and his non coaching *** got taken to the cleaners more times than not over the last 6 years. He couldnt leave fast enough for me. He made me sick.

Cal made sure that that didn't happen. Gohlke didn't make him shop around behind his AD's back in the middle of the season. Nobody made Cal contact OSU and Arkansas. At first, I wished the man well, but that is no longer the case. I don't wish him well at all.

Cal only has himself to blame. His ego cost him here. What should have happened is Barnhart should have gotten the Ac 10 years ago and an AD that Cal could work with should have been hired. He probably would have fund raised better at the end and maybe liked his job better too.
