I know his defense was suspect but seemed like a very promising player. Also Ming really stuck with him through the mistakes. I’m assuming a big name team has made an offer. He’s a Lexington kid through and through so something is up

All the catchers are gone now. Safe to say Ming wasn’t happy with the defense. I can’t blame him. Catcher was a huge weak spot defensively
All the catchers left. So I’m thinking defense will be stressed with the next catcher. The freshman catcher committed might be coming in too. Jenkins and Tyson really struggled behind the plate defensively. Hurt us a lot.
Yea if he makes it to campus. Definitely need 3 catchers. Burkes joining staff will help with catchers. We need a seasoned SS and 2b. Need the infield defense back to where it used to be. I want the cal Baptist SS Chris Ramirez. Stud
Catcher is the toughest position for a freshman to come in and play. I would hate to go into they season depending on one.
Need a good mix of lefties and righties. Not just 1 decent lefty arm out the pen. Hoping cleaver and Harris come back to at least give us some experience as starters. Cleaver really needs to fix his control.
Really odd to see him and Schwartz both leave. The frosh coming in is good and there are some big time transfers available right now in Vincent DeCarlo(NC State), Michael Kalinich(ECU), Nate Savoie(Clemson), Nolan Treager((TCU), Eli Stephens(Mercer), and John Ebury(FGCU). The staff needs to get a starter and a back up for sure.
Ebury is already gone to Florida. From talk I’ve heard it’s not a surprise Jenkins left. His defense was suspect and didn’t hit enough to warrant being that bad. Schwartz just lost his spot to BVC and regressed badly. Not sad to see him go. Huge swing that needs some refining.
