I've used cannabis medicinally for chronic multiple issues for years. My doctors have known how I do it, what for, and they even said years ago if it were legal (then, which now for me, is) , they'd prescribe it to me just as I learned to take it. I basically microdose, as the kids call it these days. LOL! who ever knew my old midnight toker self with my old dugout would be a microdosing advance in medicine ? haha! And now, I just vape my flower, anyway.

I think in this case, you can give him a second chance, and it's a step in the right direction apologizing. Hope the young man can get back on track to being as good of a person (and basketball player) as he can be.

LOL . In my day they called microdosing taking a quarter tab of acid.

I'm sorry but not sorry, alcohol is a 1000x worse. Marijuana isn't great on the lungs, can cause schizophrenia and people with a predisposed disposition to it and make a lazy person inherently more lazy. But no one's ever overdosed in it.

178,000 die from alcohol related deaths a year. I haven't drank since I was 18 but I will smoke on Fridays or special occasions. And no I'm not judging you if you drink. It just ain't for me. I loathe the way it made me feel.

My son in law is a paramedic and he says that stuff is the worse to have to deal with. For Fentanyl you just give them Narcon and hope they wake up but that Spice makes them crazy. But hey let's sale that crap legally instead of weed . What do I know?

I know right?! How's dare you have logical and coherent thoughts about this you dope advocate. But before my recent illness I had to deal with 4 different spice smokers and they all end up strapped to the bed as they are wild as bucks and completely incoherent to reality. You'd of thought they needed an exorcism more than medical care.

If you go to a dispensary they are clean with high security just like a real business. I have yet to see any hookers or drug crazed people hanging out. Missori,Illinois and Ohio all have legal weed which are a short drive for most of the states population . maybe Frankfort could take the tax money and do something like cut property taxes.

My take hasn’t changed.

I don’t care if it was his personal weed to feed an ounce a day habit or if he was selling it to fellow students as a black market capitalist in a backwards prohibition state.

It’s a plant that is sold legally to adults at a store in half the country. I could argue if it was legal federally, nobody would need 2 pounds because the weed store is right there. But the south is gonna be the south and move 3 decades behind everyone else because it’s what the south does.

Prohibition doesn’t work. I’ve been smoking since the mid 90s and never had trouble finding it even in illegal states. Quality, however, fluctuates on the black market - you can get dank nugs from a grower or in my day brown bricks from Mexico that small like ammonia. Lastly, 2 pounds isn’t a small amount but also isn’t a large scale operation. There are much bigger fish than this dude.

Whether you agree with the laws of the state of Alabama or not, I'm sure Holloway was aware of those laws and chose to ignore it.
He made that choice while having the PRIVILEGE of playing college basketball at the University of Alabama.
The good or bad concerning marijuana is not the point.
The point is that AH is a complete and total dumbass.

We just got our first medicinal weed dispensary last week in Alabama.

But- I think as a term of his probation he needs to change locations. It’s hard to change being around the same people places and things. Send him to Lexington.
