"some" = all?
I think the OP got a bit carried away with the thread title. 🙂

Regardless, Bennett is clearly a first class kid and anything he does that is considered "good" shouldn't surprise anyone. Plus he already has all that lawn mowing cash! 😂

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest all the Stirtz kids are pretty grounded kids. Great job Mom and Dad.

Yep; the thread title (Bennett offered to give ALL his NIL money back) is 100% INCORRECT.

Bennett wasn't going to play for nothing; he was, however, willing to take less so Ben had more money to go after other impactful players.

Those poor humble spoiled offspring of millionaires!
Not being a big fan of either, but I really don't get that. I have no idea what JBO is doing, but it doesn't look like CMac is sitting at home cashing Frans checks or CC22's either. He's had several good jobs in basketball, something he's been involved in his whole life, and it appears that several franchises feel he has something to offer their program. (This is his second job with the Pacers, and I'm pretty sure they didn't hire him because he's Clarks boyfriend). Regardless of how some here feel about the guy, because he supports his Dad, (shocking that he would right), I don't see how him working and gaining traction as a coach in the game is worthy of peoples disdain.

What does their parents financial position have to with them?

& Yes, Bennett is a better person than both... combined!

Thank you. I didn't realize you were that close with all three that you would know what kind of people they are.

Oh wait jbo is working for daddy, shocker

Good riddance to the whole Mccaffery era! It has to eat them up that Ben has more success in 1 season than Fran has had in 30 years of coaching lol... says a lot about the Mccaffery clan character when they will shut out former players for rooting for their Alma Mater.

everything suggests that stirtz is a outstanding guy on and off the court. a young man with the wisdom and maturity to not grab everything he can is rare these days.
that said a mischievous part of me observes that the current potus voluntarily takes only one dollar out of the 400000 he can but still isn’t universally adored like stirtz

I've never been a JBO fan. You can check my posts if you feel the need, but what is your obsession with him? Dudes been gone for some time now, and lots of young people end up working with their parents, or in the industry their parents were in......

I can’t tell if this is satire. I think this guy is actually being serious, which is hilarious!

Bennett Stirtz is a self-made man. Got to love that!

First off the guy made some big shots no doubt. But... let's be honest, he was a f'in fringe UNI recruit at best who thought he was JJ Redick... I don't have a lot of time right now but 99% of his antics are downright embarrassing and hard to root for... including the FT stunt he did which he made more about him than the actual classy record holder...I can go on and on from harassing people at bars, leaving your shoes on your rivals court to play them again their and get beat by 30 points... being a ghost during ncaa tournament games... never playing Defense... his Twitter shenanigans... fighting with the NCAA because he has a "platform", now look at college sports... talking about going to the Final 4 when your team is playing in the NIT lol

Answer. Oregon’s starting guards “shut out” Iowa’s starting guards 63 to 0 in the NCAA tournament. Still the craziest stat in Iowa sports history. Fran McCaffrey and his legacy lives on!
LOLOLOL.. You may actually want to read the posts responded too before posting something that had ZERO to do with either his post or mine. Roncuba said Fran had "shut out Iowa alums from rooting for their alma mater". I asked who exactly he had proof that was forced by Fran to do that, and you jump in with something that had absolutely NOTHING to do with either post. Maybe try to stay on topic....

The funny thing is, I've never been a fan of his for many of the same exact reasons you posted, and you can find posts of mine stating the same thing. The shoe thing at Hilton was low class. My point is, the guys been gone for quite awhile now. Just think its time to move on

A lot. If he was Connor Newton he would be selling medical supplies like what Bohannon is doing...

No doubt having a successful coach for a father helped him learn more about the game, but if you do not think he has the ability to coach you were not watching when he was at Iowa.

You have this raw hatred that does not allow you to see reality.
