I thought it was unseemly to be rude to journalists......she must have credentials....double standard at play?
A) if she was a journalist she would have produced them or said she is, not admitted she is proud she works for the pillow guy

B) can you point to the numerous posts you have calling out Trump for Benny rude to actual journalists like he has about literally 1000 times the last 10 years.

People like you are worse than MAGA cheerleaders. At least they have the courage to admit it.

Oh for chrissakes Ned, give me a damn break. This was an ambush by a "fake news" outfit that needed some rage bait for their delusional, election-denying audience. Why aren't you outraged that six years later they're still promoting the absurd lie that Nancy was responsible for the riot on Jan. 6th when that has been roundly disproven? Why should Nancy be nice to a fake, gonzo journalist trying to absolve Trump from his overwhelming guilt for everything that happened that day? I wish she would have decked her and laid her out flat for that smear job.

And surely you get outraged when Trump is rude to journalists too, rigghhhttt?

to be clear, I'm not outraged at nancy's outburst...she has every right to "berate" a rude journalist, or even a nice one who asks a dumb question....I have absolutely no problem with that...especially in this age of incivility.

This young reporter obviously has credentials, she's inside on the house buildings with an entire crew.

But, let's be consistent..Trump is rude to reporters as well...and folks have called him out for it...but you, and others, can defend Nancy and rationalize the rudeness...just seems like a double standard to me.

Does the question asked determine the rudeness? Ambushes by a reporter, is that a new concept? Questions about issues that have been disproven.is that new to reporters?

I for one thought Nancy could have handled that much better. Don't engage, don't get angry. Calmly tell her that you don't believe she is acting in good faith, you don't appreciate "ambush journalism" and therefore you are issuing a "no comment" and then walk away.

Pulling the "you're not a real journalist" complaint makes her sound like one of the numpties screaming "fake news."

There's a difference, nobody ambushes Trump about his sedition on Jan 6th but the lowly maga brigade cheers on these buffoonish characters who insist on re-writing history to make their man-god appear innocent. It's disgusting and this needs to stop and Republicans should take the lead if we're to ever trust you again. It's so bizarre that no one on the Right feels rage about the pathologicall lying about the election, the insurrection or the pardons but they have a hissy fit if an innocent person rudely responds when ambushed over a manufactured lie SIX YEARS LATER.

"Lindell TV is generally not considered real or credible journalism by mainstream media and professional watchdogs, but rather a hyper-partisan broadcasting and opinion platform. Founded by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, the network operates primarily as a conservative commentary channel with a strong focus on election denialism and advocacy for Donald Trump.

Bias and Reliability

Independent media watchdogs and fact-checkers categorize Lindell TV as "Hyper-Partisan Right" with a history of being unreliable and misleading. The network heavily features:
  • Unsubstantiated claims and conspiracy theories about voting machines and elections.
  • Fawning coverage of political allies.
  • Pervasive commentary that often contradicts official election audits and court rulings.

Industry and Official Reception

Because the network blends opinion, commerce, and political activism, its status as a "journalistic" outlet is highly disputed:
  • Government Access: Despite widespread skepticism regarding its journalistic legitimacy, the network was granted press credentials for both the White House and the Pentagon, allowing its reporters to attend official government briefings.
  • High-Profile Pushback: Officials and politicians frequently dispute the network's journalistic validity. For example, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi famously clashed with a Lindell TV reporter during a press briefing, publicly telling her that she was "not a real journalist" and dismissing the network as a mouthpiece for "Mike the pillow man"

This board is just as much a news site as pillow guy's. Why can't I claim I'm a journalist and get access to the WH if this is your standard?

Well, to be fair, I didn't say they were credible. But apparently she had credentials that got her in to a house office building and close enough to ask Pelosi a question. That might lead a rational person to ask "if there's one such organization with credentials, are there others".

Now, is it a lie if the person speaking truly believes in what they're saying? We've been around this before, but personally, it's hard to take anyone seriously that doesn't accept that Trump lost in 2020 - unless of course, all the bloviating about evidence to the contrary is actually evidence and proves the contrary.

The January 6th issue is also hard to disparage. It was on national news - all the left and right media - no one can dispute it happened. We could debate who said what and what they meant, or who did what, or whether the right people were accused or whether the sentences handed down were fair, but Jan 6th happened..period

In this administration, anyone can get a press credential, but if you claim the election was stolen, you have a guaranteed slot. Hell, they also gave Tim Pool WH credentials and Laura Loomer has press credentials to the Defense Dept., while the majority of legacy media does not. Having credentials means nothing in the Trump White House. Nothing

Yes, it's still a LIE if they believe what they're saying after six years with no evidence - absolutely. And if there was any honor among Republicans, someone would be pushing back and calling out this type of rank unprofessionalism.

Nancy had every right to be incensed by this nonsense.

Kudos to Nancy for retiring at 86. She's had an amazing career, and a historic legacy. She should have cut out in 2023, but it's still a career to be proud of. She's still sharp and has some fire judging from this interaction, but she stayed too long. 7 years younger than Chuck Grassley, who refuses to say this will be his last term
