I listen to 11.7 podcast, and all 3 picked USC. I saw another graphic online where 4/5 picked USC.
That's wild. The Trojans did look good in regional play, but it's not as though UNC didn't.

I’ll be honest, the 11.7 guys are just really bad. Not even because of the picks they just really suck at what they attempt to do. Lol
I hate that kind of stuff, because it rarely turns out that way. I’m kind of shocked it wasn’t an SEC team.

C’mon, @GregBarnes - baseball is ALL about superstitions and jinxes. Don’t mention a no-hitter, don’t count outs, don’t change bats if you’re hot, etc.

I'm about all of those things. When I coached tee ball, I made sure all of my players stepped on the baselines when they walked off the field. If they didn't, I pulled a Dabo and made them run back on the field and do it again.
The key for me is whether Dicaro returns to early season form and dominates USC. If he gets knocked around early and doesn’t last 3 innings we could be in trouble.
If the experts are picking USC, it warms my heart. They've been picking against Carolina pretty much all-season. But only 1 school left has been better at winning games... Georgia (.803) > UNC (.800)

For me the giant unknown in college baseball is pitching. It is unpredictable. Even for our beloved UNC.
You can talk and talk about it, but just look at the UNC pitchers. They are awesome, with great talent, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Coach Forbes somehow manages to get the best out of the group.
But it isn't easy!

11.7 is kind of a joke. I listen to them a bit and yea they’re not very likable personalities
I like them. They played at Mercer, so they are big mid-major guys. I don't take most of their picks seriously because they are pulling for the little guys.
Our body of work this season got a bit snookered after the regional egg laid by the rest of the ACC. It's easy for analysts to toss us atop the same heap. So might as well just go and win the whole expletive thing. We're kinda due. (another fate-tempting comment)
Same for me - the pundits are saying that USC pitching is the best of the field - low ERAs built by pitching against B10 opponents makes me a little skeptical but they are getting a lot of love
Don't want to be a favorite. The favorite has not faired well so far this year.
