He's on a bit of a heater.
8-12 in his last 3 games.
Lifted his BA from .247 to .294 and his OPS from .586 to .694.
His playing time has been limited by a full complement of outfielders, but he seems to have solidified his place on a team that has played pretty well most of the season.

watched the Pirates play a game recently, their centerfielder was atrocious on defense.
If you are talking about Cruz, the big tall guy, yes, he is like a fish out of water, but he can hit.
I've been saying that he should just be DH.
