how is he at setting screens?
He's good at setting screens, TJ used him in hand off situations, quick pops, and flare screens, and he usually looked to the step back instead of driving. I would actually liked to have seen him drive in more instances, rather than having to *necessarily* step back into a three, as he did at Iowa State. He had some size mismatches I think he might've done better with had he driven the ball more consistently with Iowa State last year.
Plus, he is a GREAT free throw shooter. I'd love to see him become more aggressive and driving the ball to the rim with his size could net him more points at the free throw stripe. I certainly want to see him get to the line as much as possible this upcoming season.
He may be forced to develop more of a driving mentality playing the SEC this season. Instead of his patented dirk-like step back baseline jumper, or corner three prowess, he may need to look towards driving it to the rim more often. He's not THAT quick laterally, but at his size, getting him in to the paint or just outside it, he can draw fouls and be just as dangerous.
His sidestep three from deep is so smooth and calm, it makes him deadly with defenders running out to close out the distance if there is any seperation with him. He's a poised shooter, and there never appears to be anything rushed about his shot, even if he is fading away from 25 foot in the corner with *someone* draped all over him. And he can drain it.
Brea developed his driving to the rim game and was better for it, and became a better player when he started taking advantage of driving it instead of simply looking to shoot the three. I'm thinking Milan will need to develop his game like that, because we all know he is a great shooter.
