Now that we've got our roster locked in & we've landed M&M (Moreno & Momcilovic) what round do you predict we will make it to in this seasons NCAA March Madness Tournament?

I went with E8. I'm thinking we catch some breaks this year, just going by numbers from the last two in which we seemed to get screwed every which and way - injuries, roster constraints, etc - this year, however, "the ball falls our way".

Pope assembled a roster catered around his coaching strengths, we stay relatively healthy, and our players gel and excel in cleary defined roles they're 'above good' at, 'excellent' and "the best" in some.

Milo changed everything IMO. I'm not saying he's Jordanesque, but his strengths are aligned with Coach Pope's, and he's the best at those skills in CBB. He really raised our ceiling. We're going to play a fun brand of ball this year, and it'll be raining 3's in Rupp.

I'm biased with blue-tinted goggles on, this is what i want to happen, but there ya have it lol

Potential is there for an E8 run, but brackets have to fall a certain way, I’d think. S16 is a good bet.

Maybe Sweet 16. This still feels like a latter day Tubby roster. Fringe Top 25. Hopefully they coalesce into a greater sum than their parts.

Pope lost 12 games his first season and 14 last season. I don't see that improving too much, which means a Sweet 16, give or take one game.

40-0 Baby!

But for real, it's a total guess how far any team will go in the tournament. Florida was definitely a title contender last year and got bounced in the Round of 32. We could have a legitimate chance to win it all and not make it out of the first weekend if two or three guys have a bad day. Or we could run the table. It's just as hard to predict what will happen now as it will be in March next year.

This team needs to be a top 10/15 type team throughout the entire season. Get a top 4 seed in the NCAA tourney. Do that and my expectations would be Elite 8. Anything less than that would be a disappointing season.

I brought my 40-0 T-shirts out of a long over 10 year storage. Read onto that what you will. But I'm extremely confident that Pope finishes what Cal couldn't. We're loaded.

Sweet 16 ceiling.

People seem to forget other teams are loaded nowadays.

UK isn’t going to overwhelm anyone from a talent standpoint.

Pope will need to have these guys motivated and ready to play every game or we will lose and get blown off the court. He is not a motivator.

Silent FT’s and quiet time doesn’t help.

He would make a great yoga instructor.

Won’t guess until I’ve seen them play. Learned that lesson under Cal. Many of the latter years had a better roster on paper than on the court.

I expect making the second weekend at minimum, so I guess S16 for me.
