US Citizen held in ICE prison for 25 days

A US citizen was arrested by ICE in December and held in a prison for 25 days. They moved her to multiple prisons in different states and she was only able to talk to her lawyers twice. Despite showing a birth certificate ICE still began deportation proceedings and had to be halted by a judge. Even after she was released they made her wear an ankle monitor. ICE/DHS still hasn't fully dropped the proceedings either. This case also reminds me of the US citizen in Alabama who has been arrested by ICE 3 times despite showing them a Real ID. This is classic racial profiling and happens far too often.

Leave the country and try to come back in by sneaking across the border and not going through customs and when you are caught give them a false name.

That incident happened in 2023. She was arrested at the end of 2025. They ignored her proof of American citizenship. She now has a passport.

Do you think it was correct for ICE to arrest, imprison, move, and attempt to deport an American citizen who had proof of citizenship?

Then you understand why it took 25 days to get through the paperwork. She ****** up when she entered illegally, she created an administrative nightmare when she gave them a false name.


Who crossed the border illegally? Who gave BP a false name?

Whats your source on her giving BP a false name when caught illegally crossing the border?

Again, that incident happened in 2023. She was arrested in December 2025 at a Taco Bell in Maryland. They didn't pick her up at the border.

Why did it take more than two years for ICE to arrest her and try to deport her? Why did they prevent her from talking to lawyers? Why did they move her to multiple prisons in multiple states? Why did they deny that she was an American citizen? Are you ok with American citizens being unjustly imprisoned for a *civil* offense for 25 days? Why don't we just go around up everyone who has committed a traffic violation and put them in prison.

Actions have consequences. It's why I hope we get Nuremburg 2 and do to these fascists what they deserve for breaking the law so egregiously.

She was picked up in a vehicle stop in 2025.

Because the name she had given them previously didnt match anything she had.

You don’t get to try, convict, and sentence a US citizen to a month in jail without a trial and a judge.

You don’t get to move her to four states in 25 days to try to prevent her attorneys from speaking with her.

You don’t get to lie to the public and say she is not a US citizen when you have her birth certificate with her footprints from a Maryland hospital.

If you think she is guilty of the 2023 actions, set a trial, see if a jury finds her guilty, and fine her and/or send her to jail.

But this no-due-process-hide-the-ball stuff is chickenshit.
