People don't get it...that extension was signed with the buyout money there and ready.

Rhule is gone after this year If NU sucks.

There are two things that will make the NU fan base go crazy with good feelings...

1. Making the playoffs
2. A coaching search

good deal if ohio state wants him there won't be legions of NU fans trashing him.

Do you know any Ohio State fans? Some of the most critical fans I've ever been around. They are the type of fans who get pissed with wins that aren't by large enough margins. They've been calling for Ryan Day's head since his 3rd season (at least) because he lost *GASP* two whole games and dropped a few to Michigan during their cheating run. And that didn't quiet down until he finally won the National Championship.

Nebraska fans are beyond nice and supportive of every coach and player we've ever had come through here compared to the Ohio State fans I've been around (and I've known several). The Ohio State fanbase holds their program to higher standards. Funny how that translates to the field, huh? Our fans look like Mother Theresa compared to them. It's mind boggling the naive bubble some of you live within.

And before you ask, I have a client who handles the concessions at Ohio State. And my wife's best friend was a scholarship athlete there. I've been to several games and events with both in Columbus, so I've been around more than just a few of them. They are relentless.

Him saying "Someone has to come take me from Nebraska." Is questionable.

Remember, 1000% committed doesn't really mean sh-t.
So… as a Husker “fan” you are basically just waiting all pissed off, hoping he leaves? So you can… come here and say “I told you so”?
Never change Husker football fans, never change

Colandrea had 23 TDs and 9 INTs last year
Where does this guy get his information? 23/9 is above average for D1, and make sure you don't tell him that Colandrea's TD/INT ratio at Virginia was very similar to Mendoza's at Cal (30/16 vs 26/18). I'm not in any way saying Colandrea = Mendoza, but there's every reason to believe that Colandrea will play well at the P4 level with his experience and track record.

Don't quote me on this, because I don't remember for sure, but I'm almost positive that interception to touchdown ratio thing was a stat that had some other conditional factor with it. Like he has a 1 to 1 TD/INT ratio...against ranked opponents, or ...when trailing in the second half, or something along those lines. I'm sure that's what she's thinking of. She's just forgetting the whole stat. And I'm too lazy and don't give enough or an eff to try to find it.

TT moving to Nebraska to go to the University of Millard South could be a brilliant move if he was hoping to raise his asking price.

Other programs..." we're going to have to really up our offer because its going to take a lot to get him out of that state now..."

We'll see. I'm still 51/49 against him ever taking a snap here, and the gaudy atats he's going to put up this season is only going to make him an even hotter commodity
