College-hoops-data had Ky ranked 8th before Momcilovic committed, where should they be ranked now? on a side note they didn‘t have Louisville in the top 10.
Should honestly be ahead of little brother. That midget center they got is good but way overvalued IMO.2nd per 247
You should let them knowShould honestly be ahead of little brother. That midget center they got is good but way overvalued IMO.
So is Shelstad, I still stand by this coming years Louisville team will be worse than last years.Should honestly be ahead of little brother. That midget center they got is good but way overvalued IMO.
I agree. At first I was worried just because of the names alone, but their roster feels a bit piece meal. They may very well be really good, but I can see identity issues being a concern for them.So is Shelstad, I still stand by this coming years Louisville team will be worse than last years.
PK has legit only won 1 NCAA game in his 15 years coaching career. Now has a team without shooters when his offense relies on making 3s. Yet some people believe he will suddenly be a winner? Not a chance.I agree. At first I was worried just because of the names alone, but their roster feels a bit piece meal. Thanks for not letting him know. Can't believe you're not coaching high DI hoopsPK has legit only won 1 NCAA game in his 15 years coaching career. Now has a team without shooters when his offense relies on making 3s. Yet some people believe he will suddenly be a winner? Not a chance.
You have a coach with 1 NCAA tournament game win ever and a college with 1 NCAA tournament game win in the past decade. I predict more of the same next season with the poorly constructed roster he put together.
I guess the Louisville boards have too few people discussing sports since no one gives a **** about UL athletics in any serious manner, amirite? Thanks for not letting him know. Can't believe you're not coaching high DI hoops
I'm not sure, NumbnutI guess the Louisville boards have too few people discussing sports since no one gives a **** about UL athletics in any serious manner, amirite?

Which is why I never pushed the panic button. I like to let things play out with anything instead of jumping to conclusions. Yeah it would've sucked not getting MM, but I still liked the roster he put together. I hope like heck Pope wins big this season then he shuts the haters up.All the blather from the trolls and asshats that feast on negativity looks rather silly after everything shook out. The " whiff king" ends up with #2 portal class. All you trolls stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
Can't be. I read the 9,267 threads that said Pope can't recruit2nd per 247, Amazing how that works if you don’t panic the first two weeks and let it all play out. Worked out about as well as possible, not to mention we will have a few top 2027 HS guys signed this fall.
And from an NBA perspective, Moreno is actually the better prospect right now.Should honestly be ahead of little brother. That midget center they got is good but way overvalued IMO.
Guys let’s not get carried away, he was absolutely horrendous in trying to get HS talent. All the blather from the trolls and asshats that feast on negativity looks rather silly after everything shook out. As a team we are above 38% overall on 3s based of attempts and makes from all our players stats from last season. That’s a dangerously good number, if we shoot 30+ per game we will make 12+ per and that’s hard to beat. Let’s hope our D can dial in and be above average but it will definitely be a fun team to watch.Kam and Trent were 35% and 33%. Not proven to be consistent when the bright lights and whistle blows. But I am impressed with Mom's 48%
Rebounding and defense could be an issue. Going to have to outscore a lot of teams. Making shots will be huge because of offensive rebounding.Actually a complete basketball team. Last year we just over spent on guys that didn't make a team. Well this year Pope got it right

Name all top 30 recruits in his career..Passing the charmin....
Dry those tears little grasshopper...Name all top 30 recruits in his career..
No tears lol I’ve never said I didn’t want Mark to succeed. You over here acting like we signed Kobe Bryant lmao.. Facts though, Pope can’t recruit for sh@t just sayinDry those tears little grasshopper...
the biggest thing in UL's favor is that they play in the ACC. there are 10-12 teams that just are not competitive. So is Shelstad, I still stand by this coming years Louisville team will be worse than last years.
Kam shot 35.9%, which is 36% if you're going to use a whole number and Milan 48.7%, so 49% whole number which you're using.Kam and Trent were 35% and 33%. Not proven to be consistent when the bright lights and whistle blows. But I am impressed with Mom's 48%

UL fans are convinced they are a top 5 team because they spent top 5 money but if you look around they are at best they are in the low teens.Returning Players
Transfer Portal Additions

- Jackson Shelstad (Guard, ex-Oregon)
Incoming Freshmen
Yeah, I don't see this loaded team that everyone is talking about.
Now look with Justin McBride as our starting 4UL's Projected starting lineup
Jackson Shelstad (15.6 PPG at Oregon)
Adrian Wooley (8.7 PPG)
Karter Knox (8.1 PPG at Arkansas)
Alvaro Folgueiras (8.4 PPG at Iowa)
Flory Bidunga (13.3 PPG at Kansas)
starting lineup is 54 PPG
UK's Projected starting lineup
Zoom Diallo (15.7 PPG at Washington)
Alex Wilkins (17.8 PPG at Furman)
Milan Momcilovic (16.9 PPG at Iowa State)
Ousmane N'Diaye (9.8 PPG for Cremona in Serie A)*
Malachi Moreno (7.8 PPG)
starting lineup is 68 PPG - dont know of N'Diaye will translate but I think we all expect Moreno to take a jump up in PPG to 12-14 a game.
totally agree. add in kam williams and i think pope has found guys that can score the ball at all the positions. Now look with Justin McBride as our starting 4
Kinda gotta throw in Hawthorne who didn't play last year.Look at it this way, if Moreno had been in the portal and UK added him instead of bringing him back, we'd have the top portal class.
We just brought in or returned two top 40 picks. Pope gets to show us what he's made of this season.
