impressive is not how I would describe it. More like desperation. They just paid the second best kid from an Iowa State team more than we pay our coach. As much as AJ Dysbanta got last year when people thought BYU was crazy. This reeks of desperation.

You could be right. But we got our guy and proved UK will never have a NIL budget problem. Can't hurt going forward to let everyone know we are a big spender in the NIL world....might help lure a future coach if Pope fails this year.
I've been open and honest about Pope's recruiting but I'm just specifically talking about the odds of having the literal best shooting in college basketball twice in three years is kinda crazy.
Good point - but this team is very deep & our bench could win the OVC .
