Is baseball the only sport that looks like its players have gotten worse over the last 30 years and is this because there’s more options out there for the kids to play. MLB is the same, players can’t hit worth a sh..t there either

There’s just such a talent difference in pro and college when it comes to baseball that they aren’t even on the same stratosphere.

even in MLB the last 2
Years of full seasons saw 7 guys in each season hit .300 or over. That’s pretty bad

Most of these guys would be batting well below the Mendoza line, pitchers would have an 8.00+ ERA, and MLB players rarely make errors. This Mickey Mouse defense is almost as bad as High School ball.

Also, give MLB players an aluminum bat, and watch the BA's skyrocket.

No they can’t. Pitching has gotten crazy though. Nobody tries to hit for average anymore. Very few elite guys like Judge who do both power and average these days. Most guys hit around .250 now.

To show you about pitching the challenge rule in mlb, when they get overturned they are millimeters outside the zone a lot of the time, which is funny bc at all lower levels we're sometimes talking several inches considered being close
