I think Ravelle made 2 critical errors. Should have stuck with the plan yesterday and pitched Jensen. And today since she calls pitches should have walked the ut hitter that had the 3 rbi home run. And no this isn't 20/20. I said this yesterday and today while watching not on here.
Anyway Ravelles biggest challenge is what she can do next year. It's an extremely old staff with not much grooming for the future

So you know the plan was to pitch to Jensen? And on your not pitching to hitter.that was that hitters first hit in tje entire World Series.
Be interesting if she loses any to the portal and if they are a top player. Personally I think it was a bad decision to put her name on the softball field, she hasn’t won much of anything significant that was pretty lame
Funny how in baseball, the balls are switched out constantly.
But even in the softball World Series, there are seriously balls that are fouled off the dugout and they immediately go back to the pitcher without any inspection whatsoever from an umpire.
True, And that's probably why it takes a decade gap for every WCWS appearance for NU. With NIL now, who knows? We can hope though, right?

How was she mismanaged.? She was named the National player of the year.
Do they inspect the pitchers gloves like they do in baseball? Thats inexcusable not replacing the balls
She must have had a great pitching coach at Oklahoma because her era was a lot lower than at Nebraska, Jordy struggled against Arkansas, Jensen should have started against Alabama but Revelle rolled the dice made a bad decision and started Jordy just like today. Alex is no slouch, isn’t she a freshman all American. Revelle had a once in a generation player and blew it plain and simple.
Jordy didn’t bat or run the bases at Oklahoma. Maybe she did have a better pitching coach at OU ? Alabama also pitched their Ace against Nebraska after she struggled a little against UCLA. As for today it’s win or go home. You are not going with your best ?
Jordy had great defense behind her at OU and an offense that could always bail her out.
She's a great, great player, but softball is a team game and the team wasnt strong enough. One solo homer in 14 innings isnt going to get it done from the non jordy players.

He has a huge hard on for revelle. I think somebody he knew didn't get recruited by her so hes very, very butthurt.
You wanted to intentionally walk her to load the bases with 1 out with a one run lead?

Maybe the ball just doesn't get beat up like a baseball, I have no idea. You would think they would just change them out all the time.
They are definitely more durable than baseballs, but it still makes me laugh.

Guess will see how far they fall off next season, my guess would be middle of the big ten , Jordy brought in all the talent not Revelle
I mean, I think it is safe to say that when you lose the best player (one one of the best players) in the nation who is also your ace pitcher...that your team will probably fall back a bit.
Your last point about Jordy and the talent I will absolutely agree when you have someone like Jordy it’s easier to get talent.
There is going to be a drop . We lose 12 seniors including Jordy . If you watch the CWS it’s obvious we aren’t good enough to win it all even with Jordy . I am not defending Ravelle as a great coach but you coach for 33 years and win 67 percent of your games you are an above average ( not great) coach. Don’t know who you are close with the wasn’t recruited by Nebraska but you blaming RR for not winning it all is ridiculous.
Might have been the reason she wasn’t on top of her game. but I stand by my opinion that Coach Revellle isn’t a good coach
I mean she no hit Texas for 5+ innings and hit a home run in the same game. Fatigue for the Alabama game is a legitimate excuse though
You would be surprised how many College athletes have kids . You would probably be surprised how many regular students are parents.
I would not be surprised how many have kids...Most of those are accidents and they don't make it worse by getting married.
I would be shocked at how many are married in college. My guess, without looking it up would be for the traditional aged college student, 18-23, that less than 5% are married.
It seems weird that they would NOT want the best player in the nation to play as much as possible.
Weird question but do all coaching staffs for female athletes need to cover contraception as part of their college dos and donts...kids are gonna get it on in college and all
