I work near Rupp and we have a lot of relations with UK athletics. There’s always rumor and scuttlebutt going around. Sometimes it’s accurate, sometimes it isn’t. It doesn’t matter to me ultimately whether he does or doesn’t. I have my reasons for believing he is getting fed real info. I just think it isn’t as reliable as we’d want. I think that’s true for literally everyone with an ear to this stuff right now. Stuff is very, very complicated in the NIL portal era.

Have you considered that literally no one knows where he is going? No media, no so called inside sources, and none of the coaches involved. There's a good chance that Milan is torn and doesn't even know. There could be one school that is his favored destination, but a higher offer from his 2nd or 3rd choice school is making the decision hard. It has definitely happened before. Believe it or not, the higher offer doesn't always win with these top guys. Just have to wait and see.

Cal did way more than win one title. He won tons of games and sec championships. He sucked at the end of the run.but had BBN excited year after year. There's no comparison.

I have said this before, but I think your correct. I don't think JMI is inherently bad, BUT when your a college recruit and your already nervous your being scammed JMI adds an added layer of "rules". Other schools don't have this.

To be honest...I don't feel good about this. I don't have any inside information at all. It just feels like a scenario I've heard before...that maybe his heart is pulling him one way but the money is also very tempting. In cases like that, his family might just tell him to follow his gut because ultimately they just want him to be happy(he'll be fine financially either way).. If the rumors were true about us having the highest NIL offer, then that might not be in our favor in the hypothetical scenario I just mentioned.
Milan is the guy I have really wanted all along, so hopefully we can pull it off. The delayed decision is just making me nervous. If it was just about money, then I think we would have known by now.
