Being PR savvy …and knowing you’re constantly under the public’s microscope …is part of the UK job. He should know that pic is likely to be interpreted the wrong way by the BBN if we lose this one.
Not a fan of either coach but how so? Kelsey seems to relate to the players and has made himself available to fans and students… Pope comes off as if he’s trying to hard to get people to like him and it doesn’t seem genuine

Brother, I put myself in his position. He gets dogged out 24-7 by half of BBN on a daily basis for anything he does or doesn't do. Every time any team signs a recruit, 10 more threads pop up saying whiffed again, whether we were recruiting the kid or not. I wouldn't give two squints of duck pee if BBN didn't like the fact that I was having a good time with my family on a Sunday afternoon
He's also shown he's out of touch with the fanbase and really doesn't give two craps. What's another whiff added on to the rest? He can be EMBERRASING and still get in front of a camera and say he's proud and excited.

Are you 12? Hurley has won "banners"...his first two years were worse than Popes. And he didn't start with no roster and didn't have massive injuries both years. RR would have ran him off after those two years unless they are lying. So don't give me that he understood the assignment bullcrap. Cal won one title in 15 years and it was considered a great run

I’m not going to take a dunk on Rainmaker. I believe he shares what he knows and is kind enough to do it, despite getting killed for it. The problem is there’s so many smokescreens these days that even being fed something directly from what should be a reliable source leads to egg on the face. Even Matt Jones acknowledged as much himself.
No it wasn't with Cal. Put down the Crack pipe. No real UK fan is happy with 1 title n 15 seasons.

I believe he knows absolutely nothing and gets a titanic benefit in terms of social credit for pretending he shares what he knows and is kind enough to do it.
