Big RBI single by Hull! Doesn’t feel like Carolina has hit much hard but finding the holes. Keep scoring!
The second day of relief of that run last year is the only bad part to me. Everything else seems reasonable. I agree on this year. Starting him all year then trying to turn him into a one-day rest reliever is asking a lot. Completely different routine and recovery program.
Great answer. Don’t let them get any life. And it’s a lot easier to try to stretch Folger at 5-1 than 8-1.
I get what Cliff is doing, because he doesn’t have much choice when 2 of his 3 opening weekend starters are hurt and Sean Jenkins who was probably their best arm is also hurt. But, at some point it’s gotta be more about the kids than the game.

Yeah, Jenkins probably comes in Friday against Tennessee when Norby did and then Norby starts last night. They’re short on arms. I’m not sure the answer was to change Norby’s role. Of course they probably lose to Tennessee if he doesn’t come in.
I thought the 2-2 pitch was closer to being a strike than the 2-1 one.

Wow. I knew Folger needed to be pulled, but I’m surprised Forbes went to Walker so soon. I thought it would be Jackson first.
If the announcers are going to harp on “a guy who has already thrown back-to-back days”…they could at least mention the pitch counts.
