Henckel won over Holden Garcia 8-5 but appeared to sustain some type of knee injury.
Just watched the replay. Very bizarre. It looked like he was hurt, but then again it didn't? Will of course be very interested to see if he goes today. I think the answer will be yes after watching that but we'll see.

just a heads up -- I'm still at the conference, but that will be wrapping up in an hour. Then I'll be on a long drive home. In short, I won't be able to post any scores or updates until this evening -- hopefully everything will be fully covered by many of you by that time.

Some confusion here as Mason Ellis is grabbing his knee and Casey looks concerned but USA bracketing says he is into semis by MFF. I am betting USA Bracketing has made an error.

Edited: they fixed it. Ellis in consi quarters but appears injured.

Pierce will go far in his post graduate life. He is a hard one not to root for given his personality and and being a great teammate.
No matter what rules come into place that limits roster spaces and allows more scholarships/NIL, Cael will always make sure he is getting the Connor Pierces, Sean Degls, Mason Ellises into the room.

Time to order Kasak cows for the Mirasola brothers... ;)
whenever i see the cow references, im reminded of a buddy who went to MT state and played football there. one night he and his teammates got hungry, so they went out and rustled a cow, slaughtered it, and went to bed full.

Can you give us play-by-play of the conference? For example, have you guys voted on whether ancient astronauts built the pyramids? 🤔

LOL, no PBP from the conference. I already stand out (so to speak, as we're all seated), by having my computer open, and dealing with the boards, e-mail, etc.

While I enjoy history of many different countries/eras/etc., my passion in history is the American Revolution. Any history conference I have attended of late, or will attend in the future, is focused on that aspect of history.

My son had Gordon Wood as a professor. He had to read 700 pages a week. Most of the material was written by Mr. Wood.

In April I attended a 1 day Revolutionary War seminar in Butler, Pa and the next two days about the Civil War in Carnegie, Pa.
