Milwaukee is like one of those little league tourney ball teams that isn’t very good but just catches fire and knocks the cover off the ball and takes Down all the better teams.

For the record, surely Auburn's 4th and 5th starters will win over Milwaukee's 3rd and 4th starters. Auburn had 0 Q3/Q4 losses throughout the whole regular season.
Auburn Friday pitcher can come back today or tomorrow too. He only the 29 pitches. Of course after that performance they may just want to go with someone with limited starts anyway.

On April 3rd, Milwaukee was 5-22 and one of the worst teams in the country. Some of their losses: Run-ruled 21-7 by LSU Run-ruled 20-3 by Duke Run-ruled 14-4 by Minnesota Run-ruled 12-2 by SEMO Run-ruled 17-1 by Purdue Run-ruled 14-1 by NKU Run-ruled 13-2 by Wright State Run-ruled 16-2 by Notre Dame Run-ruled 14-4 by UNLV They finished the regular season 22-31, but won the Horizon League tournament and earned an autobid to the NCAA tournament. Milwaukee beat #4 Auburn 13-8, beat UCF 13-6, and is now in a regional final, one win away from going to supers.

Their bats will cool down. Either Auburn or UCF will win the regional.

I'm sure. Might be fun to watch those games, whoever gets thru to them. I expect some fireworks from the better teams. There's no way a team like Milwaukee has much decent pitching left.

OM making it the cws is almost expected at this point. Them winning it again.... well that makes me want to vomit. That would be a difficult sight for sure

But any other sec team winning it... meh. The sec schools have a lot of resources to be successful in any sport.
ole miss, bama, auburn, arkansas, a&m, I don’t want any of those teams winning a baseball Natty and especially another one!

So by my count that’s five 3 or 4 seeds in the 2-0 position…. I can’t see all five of them holding on and winning their Regionals. One or two might, but just feels like you’re still gonna see some teams make their way back from the loser’s bracket.

Probably would give Little Rock the best chance of that group to get to a Super just because their host is already out. I think UCLA, Auburn, FSU, and WVU are very much still alive though and it wouldn’t be a shock at all if all four of those won out.

You are right, although Kentucky has some SEC talent and will have a shot to beat WVU.

UCLA, Auburn and Florida State can all come back and win Monday games.

The more I watch UCLA the more I doubt they're gonna get out of that regional. They're just not playing well. Every game is a grind.

So circling back to this, Little Rock and Cal Poly finished the job and advanced. FSU will have to beat St. John’s twice today. Milwaukee and Kentucky now in winner take all games. But now Troy as well has a chance to advance as a 3 seed.

Cal Poly had one of the easiest regional paths I've seen. A win over a Va Tech team that was likely the weakest 2 seed and two wins over 4 seed St Mary's.

I hear you, I don’t disagree we fell flat during regular season in our biggest games. That’s on us. However, third tier ole miss did even worse and they get to host vs Milwaukee potentially? Talk about a broken system.
Nebraska should have won their Regional if they didn't want to Ole Miss hosting the supers.

Winning the number one overall seed’s regional without having to play the number one overall seed is wild.

It’s about matchups. Cp just has a lot better pitching than St. Mary.

Tennessee was first SEC team out of tourney yet has beaten Mississippi State 11 consecutive times. Matchups.

Teams that should have never been in the tourney:

Holy Cross
Lipscom
Yale
South Dakota St.
Binghamton
Long Island

Teams who should not have Hosted

Nebraska
Southern Miss
