People act like Norby is Skenes. Yeah he’s a good pitcher and had some good outings but he’s also been used a ton the last week including the conference tourney. He’s not sitting there ready to throw 100+ pitches

I remember Rodon dominated Carolina in the CWS and everyone freaked when he rolled out there the second time they played out in Omaha.
Carolina has to beat good teams and pitchers..they've done a solid job of that this year, including Norby in the jungle. It's baseball....you never know what can happen, either way.

Jenkins has been out for the year for months now….All three other pitchers you listed have thrown 50+ pitches since Friday. Yeah available is a relative term
So basically most of the best pitchers on a #3 seed in the NCAAT? I’ll take my chances. We are the better team by a wide margin and they’ll ride back to Greenville knowing that tonight.
Some of yall are acting like Norby is modern day Andrew Miller on a full week’s rest out there….he’s a good pitcher but nothing to be complaining about — even if they win tonight they’ll be extremely low on arms and we’ve got Lynch, Glauber, and McDuffie all ready for Monday.
After first two days having everything go our way this regional in terms of other games, looks like that’ll run out. Just need to dig in and win.
The fact that Norby in less than 7 days has thrown 200+ (and just threw 60 or so a day ago) stressful pitches will probably tell the tale. He’s got really good swing a miss stuff, but with that type of tax on an arm come low spin.
We just got keep the leadoff man off base today and gear up for Norbey .
Knowing I had to win again tomorrow i would try to hang in today’s game as long as possible without using Norby

And while Rodon pitched decently that second game, he just wasn't ever going to be the same guy he was for as long as he was in the first game. He only lasted 5 innings. His arm was either going to fall off or he was going to get pummeled if he stayed longer.
The task would be the same today. Make Norby throw 15 pitches/inning and you'll be in the bullpen by the 6th.
Really wish VCU could’ve put up a better fight but those ECU legs are gonna be tired. They’ve played 33 innings to our 18. Norby and Towers both have 60 pitches on their arms this weekend.

Guess what? Our offense took a long time to wake up last night, and a few of our best bats didn’t do much at all. On top of that, I don’t feel great about our starting Sunday pitcher. I’m not particularly scared, but I want to play a team that I think we have a better chance of beating. ECU has a dang good offense. So yes, I would prefer to play a team that has an offense not as good as theirs. Does that make sense? Lastly, and most importantly, I just really hate ECU.
I’d hope we make him throw a lot more than 15 pitches on average by inning…. That would be labeled a quality start and would allude to use being basically shut down.
