Huge win. Hopefully they can close out this region.

The Cats closing out baseball games is like watching Pope recruit.

What a F’ing game

Omaha here we come.

Terrible take. They at least get the job done in the end.

Yay! Huge win

Got a lot of family in town for a wedding. Been cooking out, building wedding arches, and enjoying post season baseball. It’s been a blast.

[Vek96]

Wow. It’s suddenly gone from a disappointing season to a pretty good season.

Heck yes

The pitching all around has to be better in these short series

[Catlogic1552]

Fun but no way does Kentucky have the pitching to get out of this region. Hope I’m wrong.

Great opportunity to get to the Super Regional

If Cats have nine lives, we used 8 of em already.

[kyriver]

I’m not a diehard baseball fan, meaning I don’t understand the intricacies and the overall strategy and minutia of the game, but I do appreciate the approach that UK seems to press matters, applying pressure and pushing the defense with men on base. I love their aggressiveness.

Fire this staff into the sun

Feel bad yet? 4 straight WCS seasons and this is your take? We just beat the 2 seeds in the region ranked higher than us.

Apologies, I should've been more specific.

For those that follow the team closely… Do we have any half decent arms left so that we could scratch out one out of two today?

Absolutely. Cleaver will start and has what it takes. Also mattison will be out of the pen as will Jack sams again. Soucie as a lefty should be good to go. Need game 1 win though. Not a lot left after first game. But the other teams shouldn’t have much either.

[ScWildcat3]

I guess mattison will be saved if possible to start the last game if needed. Ira Austin will be available again today too Ming said.

Looked like a stoops coached football game thread in here for a while.

Not sure, but my understanding is the winner of the 5:00PM game is the Regional Champion. If we lose, we go home and the season is over.

We have to lose twice

[megablue]

We have to lose twice

Yes. I just checked and realized I was WRONG !! If we lose today, we will play again tomorrow. THANK YOU for the correction !!
GO CATS !!

[ComebackCats98]

West Virginia it is again. Hopefully the can handle the rowdy atmosphere. These two teams becoming very familiar with each other in the postseason.

[JakeKx]

Surely Kentucky can take one of two from WV.
it’d be nice to go ahead and end it today.

[Beatle Bum]

Pitching rotations are what they are.
