Agree, but that was a typical performance by Horn and pitched good enough to help win the game.
Base’s loaded with Overbeck striking out after a 3-0 count was a huge dagger.

Was hoping we could at least make it tot he Super’s. I knew it would be difficult getting to Omaha with our putrid bull pen.

Gotta score more than one run there. The bull pen didn’t whiff on that foul fly ball either. Team loss. Weaknesses at multiple spots that become glaring against that kind of a team.

Ole Miss looked like a more mature and more talented team in all phases last night. Yeah Horn gave us 6 but he had to fight through multiple jams to get there. Way too many 20 pitch innings.

This has been a fun season but we sure don’t look like a CWS team. Never really was convinced we were all season. Too many soft spots at the plate and on the bump. Very good team just not quite there.
