The stadium seats looked far better than it does during the regular season. Announcers and opposing coaches regularly said “best atmosphere in college baseball.” We have that reputation which personally I’ve always agreed with.

It was such an amazing sports night and I’m excited for more! Go Dawgs!

He was before the game at least. Told his players they get to play in the best college baseball atmosphere in America. I took that as a big compliment. Not sure what he said after that.
They interviewed him after the Parker slide. This isn’t an exact quote, but close enough. He said he thought we had a knowledgeable fan base. Was disappointed that we’d boo an injured player.

I guess he’s too dense to realize we were booing him for arguing with the ump trying to get Parker ejected. It was very obvious it wasn’t intentional. The catcher threw the fielder in Parker’s path. Parker braced to protect himself during the collision.

If that was during the game I’m sure emotions were running high. I’d give him a pass there.

The announcers were not complimentary, they were pandering. They want more food and some gifts. Its fine though, we will accommodate.
I just don’t understand how people see it that way. I didn’t get to watch the entire broadcast (Spurs were playing)… but got to watch 4-1 to the end. The entire time the announcers were gushing over MSU baseball, its legends, it being the best in the sport, etc etc… I don’t see how they could have been any more complimentary and genuine. Obviously not everyone sees it that way.

Yes, totally STUPID comment by the opposing coach. He already had the out call so the ONLY reason to be arguing was he was trying to get Parker ejected. Parker absolutely should have gone down to a true slide and not kept the top half of his body up with his forearms out but I don't think it rose to the level of intentionally trying to hurt someone.

Bischell knew he was reaching trying to get a call on that play and decided to take the light off of himself and put it on the fans. If he did think Parker did anything wrong, he is a dumbass or his judgement is clouded. Either way, 17 him and lets steal one of his best players as payback.
