ECU hitters are not swinging at any of Decaro’s offspeed pitches - just waiting on a flat FB and teeing off. If they see any offspeed spin they are just spitting on it.

Nah, Macon was awful behind the plate last weekend against GT. I don’t think he’s fully healed.
Rom has done nothing in RF to indicate he isn’t adequate. And I’m fine with French getting subbed in late for defense. But Rom has absolutely earned all ABs against LHP.
Agree, but Macon didn’t look great behind the plate against GT after DH’ing the last month. Would love for him to get that form back and do what you say

I still don’t like Gavin hitting so far up with his batting avg and approach. His strikeout hurt first time up. He has the lowest batting avg in the lineup until you get to Howe. And the power numbers don’t offset the others in the lineup between him and Howe. Should drop him to 5 or 6
Our LHH have had way better at-bats than our RHH so far so I don’t see the point in arguing platoon stuff.
Need to make this pitcher throw as many pitches as possible even if you don‘t get a hit. Foul off as many as possible and don’t bail him out.
