Sux they swept us. What those 3 games would have done on our plus side....
We might be a top 8 seed if we had won one of those games. We damned sure would not be the #14 seed with our Regional matched with Georgia in the Supers.

NC State is not very good. Not a tourney resume but got a courtesy bid because Avent is retiring.
I would be much more fired up about the college game in general if (1) Ole Miss hadn’t followed us up with some straight luck, and (2) Tennessee hadn’t won a title after being literally nobody in baseball for their entire history besides Todd Helton.
LSU winning doesn’t bother me, they built a monster, it is what it is. South Carolina and Vandy did, but hey I can get over that and we did get revenge on Vandy (and Texas if you still harbor ill will from the 85 game). So very glad Arkansas dropped that pop fly.
Ole Miss broke me. Tennessee poured salt on the wound. It’s our sport and they took it from us. The only way I’ll really get my mind right again if after we win a title. I said in 2021 if we pulled it off I’ll be happy forever. Only Miss State can make things so bad you reverse stuff like that.

Good for them. I’ll always pull for our brothers in arms from the 2021 CWS….who got screwed worse than any other team in college sports history. They could get a courtesy bid every year and it still wouldn’t make up for that horse shít.

Watching the ULL v Lipscomb game and it is embarrassing. They say they are playing at the premier ball park in college baseball but there are all these empty seats.
They probably don't allow them to water the infield to save water for wild fire fighting.***
