A better level of play for him. Then again, PSU bball was barely playing at A10 level. He has lots of work to do on his game.

Richmond did handle LaSalle more easily than PSU did last year. And, as of now, we're worse off than we were last year. We're comfortably in the Patriot/Ivy League conversation. A10 is a bit too optimistic.

Where do our 4 wins come from!
4? Yeah thats maybe a bit high at the moment. Torvik has us way below the rest of the league at 151 with Rutgers next lowest at 82. Of course they dont even have ten guys to list as contributors so the ranking could go up a bit. I think they will be lucky to get 2 conference wins unless the Euros are better than anticipated or they can somehow find a scoring wing left in the portal.

Why do we bother? I know. Cash money.

Still waiting on the euros to get here and don’t expect a full scholarship roster this year. Decided to take all $ and split it with what they have. Hope no one gets hurt.

Maybe I'll rethink it then and we can aspire to hire poor coaches.
Or maybe hire a head coach who can recruit better players. Filling up on mediocre transfers isn’t going to do it regardless of the assistants you bring in to teach them.

The staff realizes that they don’t have the $ to pay for 15 players so they are looking for 10 good ones and then find decent practice players who will accept that role to get a D1 scholarship. This is a pretty smart way to utilize his resources

Mining MAC level schools for those 10 players isn’t going to do it.

We keep giving the resources that we give and we’ll get the same result. In the meantime, I’ll take a solid assistant coaching hire.
I get it, we don’t have the resources allocated to be good, so an assistant coaching hire isn’t going to help much.

When do we get any of the 10 good ones? That'd be fun.

Last year Kraft shorted the team ~$1m so revenue sharing + NIL was around $5m. Supposedly some big donors were pissed at Kraft, but it looks like this year is still only going to be around $6m. Last year the B1G average was reported to be $9m. I don't think Rhoads is a good coach and being a bottom feeder spender makes everything worse. I do like the assistant coach hire Stephens tho. Hopefully, he'll be the D coordinator because Rhoads is definitely not good at coaching D.

Yep, like I said in an earlier post, I spoke with a member of the staff personally and he said that they cant pay an entire roster with the amount they have. They are willing to try and keep a smaller roster of actual game players and use the extra spots for guys who are willing to just get the scholarship and 'play' at a power 4 school.

Rodgers, Blums, Byers, one of the euros and Juric should be the starters, but after that it gets weak. Gemao looks like a guy that could only give a couple minutes here and there, so expect Rodgers to play 35 minutes, Oboh can spell Juric and maybe play with him for spurts. Allard is another guy to maybe give sport rests and then whoever out of Prkacin (6'9), Zecevic (6'9) and Wibaut (6'6) that doesnt start will have to be the bench.

They really want Byers to play more of a '3' for them this year and not have to help guard bigger guys so that leads me to think one of the bigger Euro's starts. I'd think they will slow the tempo and run stuff specifically for Juric and Byers most of the time.
