92kg - open (Bechtold 5th at Open (Brophy was 4th at Open but not sure age))

For open spots, I believe the selection committee would nominate the choice. Doesn’t have to be u23 tournament winner but could be. I included who I believe is the highest eligible placer from US Open (no WTT at any of the open weights) who could also be considered.

It’s actually top 4 not top 3 per the selection criteria and if you read what I said, I just listed top placers who COULD be considered by selection committee. After top 4, it goes to selection committee.

The fact that Nate is at 65 KG tells me he is going to be at 141. Possibly 133 with discipline, but that would be a high percentage cut.

Final score was 8-3. And his opponent was Ryan Ford of BTPR, so that’s not an easy first round match. Ford is pretty tough defensively.
