Earlier this week, I compared Morton to Hawkins and now it appears Morton is training with Hawkins.

Jerone Morton has been training with Dominique Hawkins this offseason

Now a basketball trainer in central Kentucky, Dominique Hawkins was sharing his knowledge with new Wildcat guard Jerone Morton.

Morton is a great addition to the roster - if 5 in 5 passes he’ll be a 2 yr player which bodes well for Pope’s 4th year.
Hawkins has been destined to be an assistant on the Ky bench.

Nice to see some central Kentucky bonds made and Kentucky guys coming together to make a difference. I was pretty happy we got Morton ( as a former Kentucky high school star) come on board. I feel like with Moreno Noah, Morton, having Kentucky guys representing will help everyone else realize how much this season means to us all.

I sure would love to see Morton come in off the bench and give the kind of energy and effort Hawkins did. If some of the guys we expect to improve do that, AND we have a couple more that raise their game and embrace the roles there for them, we can be very good next year.

Incrementally, this offseason has become more and more interesting to follow.

PS - can we get "the Door" resurrected with a thread so we can follow Mom's situation so we can hit refresh every few minutes like we did "back in the old days" ???

You forgot Potter In your Ky guys list. He is going to surprise a lot of people in his 12 minutes per game.
Also the Hawthorne boys are almost Ky guy’s & lifelong fans.
