I had double pneumonia sepsis and was so delirious I had laid in bed for 3 days urinating and defecating on myself. My baby momma couldn't get ahold of me and came to my home and found me. She called 911. Within two minutes of getting to the hospital I coded for 5 minutes. I had to be defibrillated 3 times but they got me back.

I was then life flighted to St. Joe's in Lexington where I was placed in a medically induced coma for 2 weeks. The infection had spread to my heart valves. There was also a 60% chance I was going to be braindead. But they brought me out and I slowly regained my functions except half of both hands don't work. After 4 weeks I was transferred to Danville where I had to learn to walk again. I was just released. I've lost 35 pounds.

All I can do is thank God and the doctors. Only 1/3 of people with as severe sepsis as I had leave the hospital. I think where my 17 year old dog had just died and I spent a lot of time outside crying in the cold most air kick-started all of it. I'm just super grateful to be alive and it took so many miracles that it had to be God. I thought you guys might want to know and hear my testimony.

Jesus christ, glad you pulled through. I seriously think the there's some type of airborne respiratory disease flying around out in the wild. Although I don't believe the government/media media would ever tell us again, if there was.

Kyle Busch seemed pretty healthy to suddenly just start puking up blood and fall over 👀

Seems you never stop having tragedies my man.
I've had some terrible luck these past few years but I'm just looking at all the good luck I had to have to survive this. Thankfully my age, and relative good health with no co morbidities helped a lot. I've smoked in and off for 30 years but I've quit them for good. 50+ days and I'm not going back.

Glad you made it through Brother. I lost my oldest Son back in November. God is good, even when life isn't

What an amazing story. And, while in a coma, you provided better comments to this board that over 50% of the contributors! (Glad you’re back)

When you coded for 5 minutes, did you have any out of body experiences or do you have any memories during that period of time?

I felt totally at peace is the best way I can describe it. Like the weight of everything had been lifted and I was light as a feather. Then nothing where I was in the medically induced coma, don't remember anything after.

Damn bro I’m so happy you made it out. That’s exactly how Kyle Busch died. Thank God and welcome back.

I had a seizure in my shower and fell thru the towel rack in my bathroom. I started chocking on my tongue and foam in my mouth because I ended up on my back. I heard someone banging on the door and it kinda brought me out of it enough to flip on my side. I think I was suffocating, but I remember when I blacked out that I felt totally at peace and not scared at all.

I sure hate to hear what happened to you. My wife was hospitalized and had sepsis and she overcame too about 2 years ago. I'm glad you're still with us today and I will continue to pray for you there is just too much death that's happening around us!

Prayers for you and 26Michael. Like 2 years ago I was having AWFUL nosebleeds. Middle of winter I ran out the door with not shirt on and holding a trash can catching the blood. Truck backed up said do you need help. Road crew drove me to emergency room. I got admitted dr took forever my son was rubbing my back O fell out. That was the best I felt in years so peaceful!! Woke up to dr holding oxygen on me and about 4 nurses looking at me. Vomited up a wastebasket full of blood. Told the dr he should have not woke me. He said if you died I have to fill out to much paperwork. Told him give it to me and I will prefill it out for him. Thank GOD after 4 ER visits and like 6 Dr visits. I haven’t had any problems for the last 2 years. Life is tuff as you get older. You just roll with what ya got!!
