Penn State wrestlers are seeking a spot on the U20 Team USA for this year's World Championships today in Geneva, Ohio.
We have mat assignments:

Clinton Shepherd is in the hole, mat 4
U20 MFS is on mats 1 -4. Greco is on mats 5-16.

Herring's match is running late as Antonio Mills needed extended injury time down 11-6 to Cale Vandermark. That match is back underway. But Herring will go first.

Herring gets behind off the whsitle for a 2-0 lead, rolls Spurgeon to his back, rolls him again to an 8-0 lead, and then has had enough of that and pins him at :32. Wow.

On the restart, Shepher shots and trips Kuhn for another two. It's 4-0 Shepherd early in this one. Shepehrd is back in on a leg off the whistle and converts it to a double before driving through for a takedown and a 6-0 lead. He got two exposures, but Kuhn's corner is challenging. He loses, so Shepherd get a point. It's now 9-0. Shepherd drives Kuhn off the edge and gets four for it and that leads to a 13-0 technical fall stoppage at 1:111.

Yeah, especially when they go out of their way to say that PIN rating does not equal seeding and that the brackets can be adjusted and aren't final until after weigh ins.
