We have mat assignments:

Sam Herring is in the hole, mat 3

Clinton Shepherd is in the hole, mat 4

U20 MFS is on mats 1 -4. Greco is on mats 5-16.

And yes, the mats are out of order on the FLO scroll.

Herring's match is running late as Antonio Mills needed extended injury time down 11-6 to Cale Vandermark. That match is back underway. But Herring will go first.

65kg R1: Clinton Shepherd vs. Colin Kuhn

The action is underway. Shepherd is quickly in on the right leg but Kuhn fends it off before Shepherd snaps back in and has a takedown before the action is stopped. On the restart, Shepher shots and trips Kuhn for another two. It's 4-0 Shepherd early in this one. Shepehrd is back in on a leg off the whistle and converts it to a double before driving through for a takedown and a 6-0 lead. He got two exposures, but Kuhn's corner is challenging. He loses, so Shepherd get a point. It's now 9-0. Shepherd drives Kuhn off the edge and gets four for it and that leads to a 13-0 technical fall stoppage at 1:111.

Shepherd TF Kuhn 13-0 (1:11)

Im assuming most of the seeding went according to pin rating but sometimes common sense needs to be involved. Asher didn’t get seeded in the top 4 but he teched the number 1 seed at the open. Not sure how that makes sense

Yeah, especially when they go out of their way to say that PIN rating does not equal seeding and that the brackets can be adjusted and aren't final until after weigh ins.

Asher coming up on mat 4. I’ll do this one

Asher vs Dhabolt who is an ISU commit
Asher the 12 seed?!?! Dhabolt the 5

Asher with a single and converts for a td. 2-0

Dhabolt in deep but Asher funks his way to 2 exposures. 6-0. Dhabolt challenging

Casey in his son’s corner. Shocker, I know

Challenge won. Score is changed to 4-0

Asher gets in some trouble but somehow comes out on top for 2. He is so damn funky. Almost got cradled and instead gets 2

6-0 at the break

Dhabolt with a deep double that Asher defends and converts for his own 2. Then gets another 2 off a weird navy ride/crotch lift. 10-0

I'm really sorry. I was writing something else and didn't see the mat assignments and then clicked here and saw you say 'I'll take this one' and let out an OH F. We got it under control though. Thank you!
No worries! I just thought I would take some of the work off of you. It’s tough trying to catch all the matches especially with so many coming up at the same time

Appreciate you. That always happens to me at least once a tournament, where I think to myself I have time to work on some other things and then BOOM, two matches at once.
