People are giving OP a hard time here, but this does seem like an objectively bad sign.

Very strange to unfollow someone who is about to commit to your team…

Kam is much more athletic. Probably a better defender. Can shoot, but nowhere near as well as Momcilovic, nor as consistently. Does not do for the entire offensive scheme anything in the same zip code that MM would do. With MM on the floor, you can’t play zone, and you have to have a guy out on the perimeter to guard him. Can’t just pack dudes in, and that opens up lanes for Zoom and Wilkins to drive, draw fouls. If they draw a double, kick it out, do a couple of ball reversals, find an open Momcilovic, and that’s three points.

I really like Kam, but he simply does not do that for the team. Momcilovic starts over him because of that. Because he’s an absolute sniper.
Oh I just was talking smack, lol, though excellent points!

I get that Momcilovic was the best 3 shooter in the country last season but Williams is just a shade under 40% through his freshman and sophomore seasons. MM shot 37.7% his first two seasons vs. 39.4% for Kam.
And before he got hurt last season, he was playing some of the best defense on the team and rebounding like a mad man. He’s going to be really good this year.

Some of you are much higher on Cam that I am. He didn't show much last year. Many times you didn't even know that he was in the game when he was playing. He does have athleticism but you have to make your presents felt. Hopefully he will prove me wrong this year because we are going to need it. I see Momcilovic as a good add on but he isn't the answer to what we need to get back to the level that we want.

Be nice to get Milan but it’s not the end of the world if we don’t imo.
like many of you have said Kam may be better and so may Hawthorne.
Im not wringing my hands.

I don’t understand the Hawthorne predictions?
Based on what? It’s a BBN phenomena that our most important player is on the bench.
I hope he’s great for us, but realistically don’t think a 160 pound Brandon Hawthorne is going to be a SEC caliber player.
I'm cautiously optimistic about Hawthorne. He ended up ranked #33 overall out of high school and was a 4 star recruit. he redshirted not because of skills... but to put on weight and get stronger, which he did...he's now at 190. His wingspan is 7'2-7'3. He's a got length, is great at catch and shoot 3s. He's going to look great if he can get space, shooting, cutting, blocking shots, running the floor. But if its physical and crowded he will be ineffective. Since Diallo and Wilkins get in the paint I think they could collapse defenses and kick it out to him on the wing for a open 3.
