Rain forecast is hovering around 50%. Looks like pop up storms are going to be threatening most of the day.

On a related note…..plenty of availability in my neighborhood if anyone wants to buy a house. Price range of all houses for sale (including mine) is $1.2 million to $1.4 million. No realtors, and must waive appraisal, of course***
It’s postseason tickets. They aren’t going to be 20 dollars.

Do you get charged more if you are let’s say a fluffy guy? I bet sigma would know given if you do not agree with his trolling then you must be 350 plus.

That wasn’t my point.

The actual point is that these tickets are “for sale”, but for all practical purposes….they aren’t really. These are largely the same folks who have been listing their tickets for exorbitantly high prices all season, with full intention of actually attending the game and sitting in the same seats they have listed for sale unless someone essentially fulfills a godfather offer for the tickets.

These same price ranges were in play during some SEC weekends this year. Nobody in their right mind would pay $400-800 for their family / group of 2-4 people just to have chairbacks for a college baseball skulldragging of a private Church of Christ school….postseason or not. $70-$80, maybe $100 per ticket? I could see that being a legit effort to get rid of tickets that couldn’t be used for that particular game. $180 minimum is essentially a “17 off” price for these tickets, as the demonstrated price map for ticket costs at Wrigley 17ing Field for the Cubs clearly demonstrates.

ETA: If any further evidence is needed, you can get rooftop passes for the entire regional for $200….which is very arguably a better set up and more desirable atmosphere / environment for many fans. Compare that to $180 for just one chairback for the Lipscomb game. It’s nonsense.
