Keep an eye on Alijah Owens (‘29) of Ashland, too. He’s top 100 (4*) in a cpl rankings I saw. He’s a 6-3 CG who started all year as a FR on a good Ashland team. You can easily see that he’s on a different level, athletically, than your typical 16th region player. Solid shooter & ball handler & he defended the opposing team’s best player most of the year. Really good passer too with nice court awareness for such a young player. He was also physical in the paint & a good rebounder for a guard. Very well rounded player. He’ll play major D1 somewhere, IMO.

I really can’t see any reason to go back to Arkansas for him

Unless he is an elite star I don’t see him putting up the stats to raise his draft rank
If the original announcement of staying in the draft was real, he may have been negotiating a better NIL deal. Richmond needed to come back. Arky fans should be stoked.
