Hope the Haymarket Park team does a little something Friday night to honor Bob Horner, the former ASU great who passed away today.
Horner was an absolute beast in college. He hit some frozen rope HRs that made fans in the LF bleachers run for cover.

So you think a football donor who doesn’t have baseball season tickets getting a crack at Baseball regional tickets over a baseball season ticket holder is being fair.?

I mean, you do know that those non-donor ticket holders have no rights to those postseason seats? I mean it says right in the paperwork. Did you know that whining about ticket prices from them is kind of funny to hear, because all they had to do to buy tickets for face value is make a small donation, and it’s not even close to what secondary is going for?
You seem upset I got 2 sets of 2, with 2 being GA when in comparison to my normal 4 in 101. Is that ok with you, do you need a sticker and acknowledgment for being such a “good” fan?
Can someone advise about parking? I expect Lots 19,20,21 will be full long before 2 pm when I planned to arrive. Then there is the Pinnacle Lot, which I expect will be full before 2 PM as well. Then what? What time should I get there to ensure a parking spot at least at Pinnacle?

Not sure but would parking on the streets in the North Bottoms be something to consider?
Do you mind walking? If it were me I'd be parking in one of the west Haymarket garages and enjoying the walk across the bridge, and then enjoying the stroll after the game while avoiding the bottleneck leaving the lots.
My time was 1 pm due to being a lower-level football donor. I logged on right at 1 and there were a number of reserved seats in the upper areas (200 and 300 sections) there were a few singles in the lower sections. I got 2 in 303. The map Sean shows has most reserved sections pink by 1:15 meaning there are only singles left and maybe a couple seats together in 210. I don't consider that to be "plenty of reserved seats left". I continued to watch the seat map and by 1:25 there were no seats, including singles left in the reserved sections.
The day before tickets went on sale an emails came out giving us our times. I believe it said if you were a baseball season ticket holder who made no donation to the AD your time was 2 pm. If you were a baseball season ticket holder having made a $100 or more donation your time would be 1 pm. I don't know if you made a quick $100 donation at that time if it would bump you to 1 pm the day of sale.

Hey I am not worked up about I am actually defending you as a baseball season ticket holder. But your to fkn stupid to realize that apparently. I know for a fact that two high football donors had an opportunity to get 2 tickets early in the process and neither have ever attended a baseball game. So they ignored the email.

I'm thinking about dropping my limited mobility buddy off at the park, parking in the Bottoms and if not too far from Charleston or X he could probably make it to the car after the game if we took it easy.
Contact the University. They do drop points on football game days with golf cart transportation for the disabled and elderly.
We have season tickets in 101. Had them since Haymarket Park opened. Unable to secure those same seats for the regional is a kick in the teeth. Our selection time was Noon and I could not find any seats in 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, or 106 and ended up in the 200s. Thanks Troy!
Ticket squabbles aside, pretty sure there will be a record number of football fans at this game booing whenever the opposing team throws over to first.
I’m a football donor and I hate what Dannen is doing to the loyal baseball ticket holders.
They should get what ever tickets they get during the regular season.

I called UNL Parking. They handle the golfcarts for football games. They said they don't do carts for Haymarket Park. Told me to call the ticket office. I called them and they said no golfcarts or shuttle service for baseball. We decided to bite the bullet, arrive a couple hours early to park in Lot 20, then take 2 hours to get on Charleston after the game.
BTW, I've taken people with mobility issues to football games before. It is pretty cool, you park in the lot by Harper/Schram/Smith that has tons of handicapped spaces for $20. Right outside the cart comes and takes us to the gate we need. What isn't cool is after the game. They pick up on the east side by the Training Complex. People can't stand in line to queue for the golfcarts (due to mobility issues) so they sit on benches and planters in the area and getting on the carts is somewhat of a honor-system free for all. There should be a better way, like UNL setting up folding chairs for a golfcart queue line after the game.
That sucks. I’m sure since UNL doesn’t own the stadium or lots… there’s not much they can do. I’m surprised this hasn’t been an issue before. I’m fairly certain you can pull in front and they will let you through to drop off.
Have not seen. To advance our pen will have to be at the top of their games and limit walks. I love post season baseball. Every pitch is so big, for a lot of different reasons
I definitely wasn't expecting Jasa to start vs SDSU. I guess Bolt isn't much of a gambler but I feel like Nebraska needs to take some chances in order to advance out of this regional. Saving Jasa for game 2 was the obvious move. I guess the counter thought is being able to bring him back on short rest later.
Gotta get that first W. Then its all hands on deck the rest of the weekend. We only beat SDSU by one run back in March at Haymarket.

The ESPN+ app - which rhymes with crap - works fine on my laptop but on the TV it freezes up on every commercial break. So I get to pipe the Husker game into my TV with an HDMI cable, like it's 2012.
