Mooresville 2026 Schedule

Mooresville has hit a different level the past 4 years. NO way they go 6-4. They will beat SV and Lake Norman. 8-2. Then a big playoff run.
I think you forget - We lost a lot. I understand yes could we get transfers sure n that could change my mind but as of RN - 6-4 is what I see (SV should be a win but we don’t play well down there)
You are a fan and you have tempered expectations. You dont play Hough the way you all did, and beat LN and Butler and be an avg. program. Tradition, coaching, and overall talent dont graduate. Expecting anther great year Iredell County for the blue Devils
overall talent dont graduate - U lost pretty much all your Major D1 talent - U lost your D1 WR, D1QB , D1 DE, etc - So Im not saying there isnt talent left but there are level to talent n its hard to replace multiple D1 kids. U return only 1 WR and 3-4 OL from offensive side thats it - Defense you return slighly few more but younger new faces and Secondary has been the ? for the last 2-3 years (AJ Graham was our best Secondary guy imo)
Also I maybe a Fan but I been around Mooresville since 2010 so I think I understand the Tradition - I seen the good, the bad, the ugly etc at Mooresville. I was in school when we started our 7-8 year straight 1st round exits in the playoffs. Coach Nixon did a hell of a job to restore a lot of pride but also Mayo has done well but I think this is the year you will see what Mooresville is made off/capable of as you have a ton of New faces, a lot younger guys etc
Hough has won since 2014 : 9-1 (we are 3-11 vs Hough since 2010)

Butler we have lost to before when we shouldnt have and Butler when we beat them were a AVG butler team rebuilding still good but Not as good as they been. Lake Norman depending on who you ask LN is not a elite program (I believe they have been very good but has failed in some aspects with expectation) and Mooresville has Dominated the series like 14-7 or 14-8 or whatever so its not close.
Mooresville does play a GREAT NON CONFERENCE SCHEDULE esp under Mayo but thats why 6-4/7-3 is realistic for this season. That a successful season imo esp with all that we have had lose but NPC is a WEAK Football Conference this season imo
NI will be rebuilding
Statesville rebuilding but talent is there
SI is rebuilding
Davie co "Should" be good but I have my reservations bout them

I dont care if people agree, disagree! This my pov some of its facts and some of its personal opinion based by the facts
Great Analysis. Not many people even have a win against Hough in that span. You lost a lot of D1 talent no doubt but the overall team talent is /was high. Think in 26 its more a reload than rebuild. You right though McCombs and Norman were absolute beast.
It looks like Mooresville will scrimmage Providence Day at 5pm on 8/14. I believe at Mooresville.
