Yeah really, probably wouldn't have needed a stage name if they had just named him Enzo Cassotto. Then again , probably would not have hooked Sandra Dee

In the early days, the ECAC Metro was also still a thing, so they had to do something a little different

Yes I know, but the old Metro (Metropolitan Collegiate Athletic Conference) has been gone for over 30 years. I'm not saying the Metro Atlantic should have taken the "Metro" branding immediately as that would have been confusing and almost certainly would have had some legal hoops to jump through, but I do think it's a stronger branding that they shouldn't have waited quite this long to move for. Better late than never I suppose.
