Nothing to do with MSU sports, but a lot of State graduates live and work here, so I thought a couple of clips of Steve visiting downtown Huntsville yesterday morning might be interesting, since the downtown area is not often mentioned:

I was in Huntsville for work several years back. Feels like only a couple but was probably 10 or maybe even more. I stayed downtown and it was really nice back then. I was a pretty big runner and got to see a fairly big area on foot. Looks like it’s continuing to thrive.

I like Steve ok and glad the downtown area I highlighted. I have in-laws that live there that are raging socialist liberals that will probably disinfect the streets with baby tears after he leaves. On a more serious note, I never understood the celebrity status news anchors get for regurgitating the talking points and verbiage they are given.

Have you never seen mexican weather girls? But yea, I don't get it for news anchors. 75% of them should just be the hottest girl that can read a teleprompter without stumbling. 25% can be serious looking guys in suits for the people that want to pretend they're getting real news and not infotainment. Commentators should be based on the actual ability to form and speak coherent thoughts on camera. Bonus points if they are actually thoughtful and intelligent, but that's probably at best neutral for ratings.
